Civil Engineering Technician

Responsibilities include drafting (AutoCAD), basic engineering calculations, preparing permit applications, technical report writing, and field work to include assisting with survey equipment, soils infiltration tests, erosion control inspections, and water quality testing. Additional duties may include pick-up and delivery of plans and documents to local agency offices and clients and running errands for office operations.

This is a full-time salaried position (40 hours per week) with immediate availability. We also offer training and mentoring to further develop employees.

Minimum Requirements of the Position:

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent (US Air Force, Engineer’s Assistant 5-Level or higher, and U.S. Navy SEABEES Engineering Aide completion of training also qualify)

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365 Word and Excel

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work as a team player in a collaborative manner

• Ability to balance variable workload demands with flexibility, organization, and time management
